VPK Boosts Production with New Corrugator Launch at Erembodegem Plant

VPK Packaging, a leading Belgian packaging group, has commissioned a state-of-the-art 2.8-meter corrugator at its Erembodegem facility, replacing the older 2.5-meter machine to enhance performance and increase site capacity. This strategic investment follows the installation of a new casemaker at their Oudegem location, reflecting VPK’s ongoing commitment to expanding its Belgian operations. The company’s roadmap targets increasing corrugated board output at Erembodegem from 100 million m² to 160 million m², with a further goal of reaching 170 million m². Plans include activating dormant capacity on the rotary die-cutter and ramping up finishing operations to 120 million m² as an interim milestone. These advancements underscore VPK’s focus on operational excellence and scalable growth in the competitive European packaging sector.
