Valmet Delivers Advanced Sack and Kraft Paper Machine to Guangxi Jianhui Paper in China, Boosting Sustainability and Efficiency

Valmet is delivering a high-end sack and kraft paper machine, including automation and services, to Guangxi Jianhui Paper in China, aiming to enhance operational performance and promote circularity in packaging. The new PM 8n machine is scheduled to start operations by the end of 2026. Summary Guangxi Jianhui Paper’s investment in Valmet’s advanced technology will optimize product structure, enhance machine performance, and support sustainable development and intelligent transformation. The contract is one of the largest sack kraft machine deliveries in Asia, emphasizing Valmet’s expertise in sack kraft grades and lifecycle support. The machinery features include state-of-the-art components such as OptiFlo Fourdrinier headbox, OptiFormer forming section, OptiPress Center press section, OptiRun Hybrid dryer, and advanced control systems like Valmet DNA and IQ Quality Control. The machine is designed with a 7,450 mm wire width, capable of producing kraft and sack paper grades with basis weights from 50 to 110 g/m² and a design speed of 1,300 meters per minute. Guangxi Jianhui Paper, founded in 2020 in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is focused on integrated forestry, pulp, paper production, and sustainable energy generation.
