Stora Enso Launches Ensovelvet, Premium Uncoated Paperboard for Luxury Packaging

Stora Enso has introduced Ensovelvet, a premium uncoated solid bleached sulfate (SBS) paperboard designed for luxury packaging applications including cosmetics, perfumes, and other high-end consumer goods. Available in weights ranging from 240 to 320 g/m², Ensovelvet combines velvet-like smoothness with a natural tactile feel to enhance the aesthetics and user experience of premium packaging. The product supports sustainability goals by being renewable and recyclable, aligning with Stora Enso’s commitment to the circular bioeconomy. Ensovelvet will be showcased from September 29 to October 1 at the LUXE PACK Monaco event. This launch reflects Stora Enso’s drive to offer innovative, eco-friendly packaging solutions that meet increasing consumer demand for sustainability without compromising on quality or luxury appeal.
