Oradoc Implements Turnkey Solution to Enhance Cleaning and Efficiency in Spanish Paper Coreboard Production

Oradoc addressed significant cleaning and efficiency challenges in a Spanish paper mill producing coreboard with base weights between 200 and 620 g/m² at speeds up to 800 m/min. The mill suffered from contamination caused by paper dust accumulation on the doctor blade, affecting product quality and machine efficiency. Oradoc's turnkey project introduced the OraFlex™ flexible doctor blade holder and OraDust™ integrated dust removal system. OraFlex™ ensures uniform pressure and effective cleaning with a modern pneumatic oscillation system, replacing outdated electromechanical systems. OraDust™ enhances cleaning by suctioning paper dust directly from the blade, preventing contamination during drying. This system integrates seamlessly with the dryer and includes adjustable suction control via DCS. The solution resulted in higher paper quality, reduced maintenance needs, improved operational efficiency, and cost savings, supporting sustainable manufacturing.
