Mondi Successfully Starts Production on Steti PM 10 Paper Machine with Bellmer Technology

Mondi has successfully commissioned the new PM 10 paper machine at its Steti site, reinforcing its leadership in sustainable paper-based packaging solutions. This €400 million investment furthers Mondi's "Action Plan 2030" by providing an annual capacity of around 210,000 tonnes of sack kraft paper. Bellmer GmbH was the general contractor, delivering and integrating all main components, including energy-efficient approach flow, the TurboJetter headbox, TurboPress, modern calendering, and automation technologies such as Distributed Control and Quality Control Systems. The close collaboration between Mondi and Bellmer enabled an on-time commissioning within 24 months of contract signing. Executives praised the project’s successful execution, product quality, and technological milestones, marking the largest single order in Bellmer’s history and showcasing advanced engineering innovation.
