Fibre Excellence Provence Launches New UKP-E Kraft Pulp Grade for Electrical Insulation Market

Fibre Excellence Group’s Provence mill has expanded its unbleached kraft pulp (UKP) product line with a new grade, UKP-E, specifically developed for electrical insulation paper manufacture. This innovation meets stringent market demands with optimized conductivity, achieved through improved industrial processes without additional capital investment. Sourced from softwood harvested locally within 250 km of the mill, UKP-E aligns with Fibre Excellence’s sustainable regional production strategy. Since 2020, the mill has progressively expanded its UKP offerings for packaging, fiber cement, and now electrical insulation applications, gaining approvals from multiple international industrial customers.
