DS Smith, in partnership with Finland’s Famifarm Oy, has created a new ergonomic, recyclable fiber-based packaging solution aimed at transporting fresh herbs and salads. Designed to speed up packaging and unpacking, the innovative boxes allow for quick opening and can accelerate unpacking lines up to four times compared to older solutions. The collapsible boxes provide robust protection during transport and maintain a premium visual identity, showcasing Famifarm’s brand prominently. Famifarm Oy, Finland’s largest potted herb and salad producer known for its Järvikylä brand, praised DS Smith’s understanding of their operations and shared focus on sustainability. This packaging fits both large retail chains and smaller stores, supporting efficient logistics without compromising product safety.
