BARMAtec’s MULTIGLUER GT Boosts Delta Packaging’s Efficiency for Avignon Wine Industry

Delta Packaging, based in Avignon, France, known for supplying corrugated cases to prestigious local vineyards like Côtes de Rhone and Chateauneuf du Pape, has enhanced its production capacity with the BARMAtec MULTIGLUER GT folder-gluer. Facing growing demand for specialized wine packs holding one to three bottles, Delta Packaging needed a machine capable of closing over 2,000 pieces per hour using three-point cold adhesive. The MULTIGLUER GT, fitted with Baumer hhs adhesive technology and Beckhoff electronics, met requirements for a compact footprint and ease of operation. Delivered and installed in August by BARMAtec’s Christian Bauer, the new equipment enables Delta Packaging to meet seasonal demand increases efficiently, supporting the local wine industry during its peak period
