On September 10, APP Group, formerly Asia Pulp and Paper, announced Regenesis, a new sustainability platform underscoring its ambitious commitment to environmental stewardship over the next decade. The initiative allocates $30 million annually for 10 years to support conservation and restoration of 1 million hectares of critical ecosystems, reinforcing APP's role as a leader in sustainable forest management and climate action. Regenesis features the launch of the Forest Positive Policy, an evolution of APP’s 2013 Forest Conservation Policy, aimed at embedding responsible forestry across its operations. The policy is structured around three pillars: Forests, People, and Value Chain, and is backed by actionable commitments, strict implementation, and comprehensive monitoring to drive tangible sustainability outcomes.
